What was the longest FaceTime call?

The longest FaceTime call ever recorded lasted over 48 hours and was held by Ashraine Rachelle and her best friend, Mateo from the Philippines. They have known each other since middle school, and Mateo was visiting his family in the Philippines when the pandemic began.

Ashraine wanted to make sure he was safe and make sure he didn’t feel alone, which is why she decided to FaceTime him for the entire weekend he was away.

The call started on Friday, March 27th and lasted until Sunday evening, March 29th. During those 48 hours, Ashraine and Mateo talked about their lives, caught up, listened to music, and watched comedy skits and Vine compilations.
