Can you send a wire transfer to a Chime account?

No, it is not possible to send a wire transfer to a Chime account. Chime is a digital bank and does not accept wire transfers as a form of payment or transfer. You can use Chime to transfer money to friends and family members, but also to retailers and other accounts you have linked to your Chime account.

To send or receive money to or from another person or account, you can use the Chime’s mobile scan-to-pay feature, or the Chime website easily to do the transfer. You cannot use wire transfers to send money to Chime.

Chime is on Zelle through its banking partner, Securely, a member of the Zelle Network. Securely is the service provider that handles payments for Chime, and is a member of the Early Warning Services Network, which is part of the Zelle Network.
