Does Curology use insurance?

No, Curology does not use insurance. Curology is an online service that provides personalized skincare treatments based on a medical provider’s evaluation. All personalized prescriptions are prepared by a medical professional and require a monthly fee.

Customers can pay with a credit card or PayPal. Because Curology is not a medical service, they are not able to accept insurance payments. Customers also pay outside of the insurance system, so it is not possible to receive a reimbursement from any insurance provider.

However, many members find that the cost of Curology’s personalized services is cheaper than going to a dermatologist, making it an affordable skincare solution.

Is Curology medical grade?

Yes, Curology is medical grade. Curology is an online skincare service that provides customized skincare treatments with prescription-strength medications. All Curology products are based on the latest scientific research and formulated in a laboratory by a team of skincare professionals, including dermatologists and pharmacists.

The active ingredients are pharmaceutical grade, and include retinoic acid, azelaic acid, tretinoin, and clindamycin. Additionally, each of these medications is produced in a pharmaceutical grade facility and inspected and tested by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) for quality, purity, and potency.

All Curology products are, therefore, medical grade and are produced according to the highest standards of quality and safety for both prescription and over-the-counter medications.

Does Curology work for acne scars?

Can I use Curology twice a day?

No, Curology should not be applied twice a day. The ingredients in Curology formulas are very potent and can be irritating if used too frequently. It’s best to apply your customized Curology formula once daily, preferably at night after cleansing and toning.

Curology recommends using a gentle cleanser and toner, and waiting 20-30 minutes for the skin to dry completely before applying. Over time, you may find that the formula can be used twice a day with no irritation, but it’s best to start slow and make sure your skin can handle the product before increasing use.
