How do I get my AirPods Pro to go to next song?

In order to get your AirPods Pro to go to the next song, you need to double tap either one of the AirPods. This will automatically skip the current song and move onto the next one in your playlist. If you have set up double tap features in your iPhone settings, then it may be programmed to do something different when you double tap your AirPods.

If you have an Apple Watch, you can also double tap the side button in order to move to the next song. Additionally, you can always just use your phone or other device to manually move to the next song on your playlist.

Why can’t I skip songs on AirPods Pro?

You unfortunately cannot skip songs on AirPods Pro. AirPods Pro are equipped with two great features called Ear Tip Fit Test and Adaptive EQ. However, these features do not allow users to skip songs.

The Ear Tip Fit Test is a feature that helps you quickly find the best ear tip size for the AirPods Pro. This allows for a more comfortable fit, more ambient noise cancellation, and better sound quality and stability.

Adaptive EQ automatically adjusts the mid and low frequencies of the music to your ears for a rich, consistent listening experience.

While these features are great, none of them allow you to skip songs. To skip a song you’ll need to manually do it on the device you are listening with, such as your phone or computer. AirPods Pro don’t have any physical buttons on them so there is no direct way to skip songs.

Why won’t my AirPods skip to the next song?

There are a few possible reasons why your AirPods may not skip to the next song.

The first could be that the settings on your device may be preventing the AirPods from responding to quick double taps, which are used to play the next song. To check, go to your device’s Bluetooth settings.

Look for ‘AirPods’, and make sure that ‘Double-Tap’ is activated.

The second possibility is that your AirPods may not have a strong enough connection. This is especially likely if they are not within range of the connected device. To check if this is the problem, try bringing your AirPods closer to the device, or turning off and on the Bluetooth setting.

If the issue persists, it is possible that your AirPods may need to be reset. To do this, locate the Home button on the AirPods case, and press and hold it until the LED light from the case flashes a few times.

Once reset, reconnect your AirPods to the device and see if that corrects the issue.

If none of these steps solve the problem, it could be an issue with your device. In this case, you may want to consult the manufacturer’s website for tips on how to fix the issue.
