How do I get my new AirPods to connect?

In order to get your new AirPods to connect, you’ll first need to make sure that they are properly charged. To do this, put the AirPods in the charger case and ensure that the case has been charged using its charging cable.

Once your AirPods are sufficiently charged, open the lid of the charger case and press and hold the setup button on the back of the case. At this point, the status light on the front of the case will begin to blink white.

Next, open your device’s Bluetooth settings. If you’re using an iOS or MacOS device, press and hold the setup button on the back of your AirPods case to activate the device pairing. After a few moments, your AirPods will begin to show up as an available device in your Bluetooth list.

Once the device appears in your list, simply select it and the two devices will be connected.

If you’re using an Android device, the process is slightly different. You’ll need to first put your AirPods in pairing mode by pressing and holding the setup button for at least 15 seconds. Once in pairing mode, the AirPods will show up as an available device on your Bluetooth list.

Simply select the AirPods in your list and they will be connected to your device.

Once your AirPods are connected, you should be able to start listening to music or other audio with your AirPods. Enjoy!

Why are my AirPods popping up but not connecting?

The most common issues involve pairing your AirPods with a device, interference from other nearby devices, and a poor or interrupted connection.

Firstly, make sure that you have paired your AirPods to the correct device. To do this, double press the setup button on the AirPods and ensure that the device you are trying to use them with appears on your Bluetooth device list.

If your AirPods do not appear on the list, you may need to set up your AirPods with the device you want to use them with by going to the Bluetooth settings on your device.

The second issue is related to any other nearby devices that may be interfering with your AirPods connection. Bluetooth is a shared resource, so problems with the signal may arise when there is interference from other nearby devices.

To fix this, try relocating the device you are using with your AirPods away from any other known Bluetooth using devices.

Lastly, a poor or interrupted connection can also disrupt your AirPods’ performance. Make sure that your device is close enough to the AirPods so that both devices can maintain a strong and stable connection.

Also, make sure that there are no blockages or obstructions between the two objects which could be weakening the connection. Move any furniture which could be blocking the signal and try again.

7. Your AirPods have now been factory reset.

Why won’t my AirPods connect or reset?

There could be several reasons why your AirPods won’t connect or reset. First, check if your AirPods are charged. If they are not, connect them to their charging case and charge them for at least 15 minutes.

Second, ensure that you are using the correct charger to charge your AirPods. If you are using a third-party charger, try using the original charger that came with the AirPods. If you are using the original charger, check if the charging pins are not clogged up due to dirt or lint.

If needed, clean the pins with a cotton swab.

Third, check if the firmware of the AirPods needs to be updated. To check this, open the Settings app on your iPhone and select General>About. If you see an update listed there, go ahead and update it.

After updating the firmware, reset your AirPods by pressing and holding both the back and the power key at the same time for at least 15 seconds. Reconnect AirPods to your device and try to connect them.

Finally, if all the aforementioned methods don’t seem to be working, check if the audio accessories you are using are connecting to other Bluetooth devices. If they are connecting to other devices and not yours, try to reset the network settings on your iPhone.

To do this, go to Settings > General > Reset and select Reset Network Settings.

If the problem still persists, the best thing to do is contact the Apple support team and they should be able to help you out.
