Can I put my entire iTunes library on iCloud?

Yes, you can put your entire iTunes library on iCloud. This can be accomplished by going to Settings on your device, tapping on your name, then tapping on iCloud, Music, and toggle iCloud Music Library On.

Once the library is turned on, all iTunes content on your device will become available in the iCloud, and will be accessible from any device using the same Apple ID. Also, you can make any purchased content from the iTunes Store available in the iCloud Music Library by going to Settings and tapping on Music, then Apple Music and toggle “Show Apple Music” On.

However, since Apple Music is a streaming service, you will have to make sure your subscription is up to date. Finally, you can manage iCloud Music Library content on your Mac or PC with iTunes by checking a box to show iCloud Music Library – this will make any changes made available on all of your devices.

Can I store my own music on iCloud?

Yes, you can store your own music on iCloud. Apple offers a service called iCloud Music Library, which allows users with an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription to store their music on iCloud. With iCloud Music Library, all music in your digital library — both purchased and ripped — can be stored in iCloud and streamed to all of your Apple devices.

You can also access your stored music from the web using iTunes, as well as download it back to your computer. iCloud Music Library also allows users to sync music between multiple devices, so you can access your music library from any device you own.

How much music can you store in iCloud?

The amount of music you can store in iCloud varies depending on the amount of storage space available. Apple offers five different storage tiers starting from 5GB of free storage up to 2TB of storage.

The maximum amount of music you can store in iCloud would depend on which storage tier plan you purchase.

The maximum amount of music that can fit into each storage tier is estimated to be about the following:

5GB: Under 50 songs

15GB: Between 300-500 songs

50GB: Around 2000 songs

200GB: Approximately 8,000 songs

2TB: Over 80,000 songs

Why isn’t my iCloud music library available?

The first thing to check is whether the feature is enabled on your device. You can turn on iCloud Music Library in the Music app or iTunes on your computer, in Settings > Music on iOS devices, or in the Apple Music settings on your Android device.

Once enabled, iCloud Music Library unifies your linked devices, so you can access your music library across your devices.

If the feature is activated, there may be an issue with your Apple Music subscription or iCloud Music Library limits. Check that your Apple Music subscription is up to date and that the number of tracks in your library hasn’t exceeded the allowed number of tracks.

It’s also possible that certain tracks you’ve added to your library may not be available in iCloud Music Library, due to country or regional restrictions. If you’ve added a track from an Apple Music song or album that is available in your region, make sure that you are signed in to the correct Apple ID for the region.

Finally, if you added a track into iCloud Music Library using a different Apple ID, you’ll need to sign in to that Apple ID to access the track.

If none of these solutions resolve the issue, contact Apple Support for further help.

How much storage is music on iPhone?

The amount of storage used for music on an iPhone will depend on the individual user, their preferences and the size of their music library. Different iPhones come with different storage sizes so the user may have to consider the size of their library before purchasing a device.

Music takes up storage space just like photos, videos, and apps and can range from a few MBs to even GBs of space depending on the music library size. To maximize storage space, users may opt to use services such as Apple Music, Spotify, or Amazon Music, which allow them to stream music without taking up storage space.

How do I find my music library?

Finding your music library on your device depends on the device you are using. For iPhones and iPads, you can open the Music app and the library will be shown at the bottom of the screen. For Androids, you can find it in the Google Play Music app.

If you are using a computer, you can locate the music library in your iTunes library, under the “My Music” tab. You can also find it in Windows Media Player, under “My Library”. Furthermore, if you are a Spotify user, you can find your music library under the “Your Library” tab.

Finally, if you are streaming music, you can access your library by logging into your streaming service’s app or website.

Where are Apple Music files stored?

Apple Music files are stored in iCloud Music Library. This is a part of iCloud where all purchased music, as well as any music that you have added from Apple Music, is kept so you can access it on all of your Apple devices.

Your music should be stored in a folder named ‘iCloud Music Library’ in the Music app. If you turn off iCloud Music Library on any device, the files stored there will not be available on that device, but can still be found in iCloud Music Library.

Why did Apple Music delete my music?

Apple Music may have deleted your music for a variety of reasons. It is possible that you were unable to pay for the subscription and subsequently lost access to the music, or it could be that songs that you have stored have been removed as part of the Apple Music rights management cycle.

Additionally, if you have enabled iCloud Music Library then songs may have been removed due to copyright restrictions. It may also be that you inadvertently deleted the music yourself through the Apple Music app.

It is not possible to restore deleted music unless you have a backup of the songs, or the songs are available from iTunes or the Apple Music catalog. If you are concerned about the possibility of music being deleted, you can always make backups of any music you have to ensure that it will not be lost.
