Why is my Xfinity suddenly not working?

The first thing to check is if there is an outage in your area. You can check the Xfinity service status page to see if it is reporting any outages. If there is an outage, you won’t be able to access your Xfinity services until the issue is resolved.

The second thing to check is whether your equipment is set up and connected properly. If you moved your modem or router, or if an ethernet cable is loose or disconnected, it could cause the service to stop working properly.

Try unplugging each device and plugging them back in to see if that resolves the issue.

The third thing to check is if there is an issue with your connection to the internet. Resetting your modem or router could help with this by rebooting it and clearing out any old data.

If none of these solutions solve the issue, then it might be necessary to contact Xfinity to have them diagnose and resolve the issue. They may need to send a technician if the problem is hardware related.

What do you do when your cable box stops working?

When my cable box stops working, the first thing I do is power-cycle the cable box. To do this, I unplug the power cable from the back of the box, wait for a few seconds and then plug it back in. This will often fix a wide range of problems with your cable box.

If that doesn’t work, then I would contact my cable provider and explain the issues I’m having. They may need to troubleshoot the problem over the phone or send a technician to my house. Alternatively, they may send me a new cable box and have me exchange it for my old one.

In some cases, it could be an issue with the wiring in my house, so further investigation might be necessary.
