How do I share my Blink camera with my family?

To share your Blink camera with your family, you will need to first set up BlinkSync—a Blink-to- Blink wireless connection. This will enable you to sync and share video footage among all of the Blink cameras you own in your home.

Here’s how to set up BlinkSync:

1. Open the Blink app on your mobile device and tap the ‘Gear’ icon.

2. Select ‘Blink Sync Module’ on the left side of the screen.

3. The BlinkSync module will come pre-configured. Tap on ‘Configure Group’ in the top right corner and then tap ‘Create’.

4. Give this group a name, such as “Family” and then tap ‘Create’.

5. You will now be prompted to connect to the BlinkSync module.

6. Position your Blink cameras within 10-15 feet of the BlinkSync module.

7. Tap the camera(s) which appear on the app to add them to the group.

8. You can now watch live streams from all the cameras within the group.

Once you’ve completed the setup, your family can easily access the live streams from your Blink cameras. They can open the Blink app, select the ‘Family’ group and be able to watch footage from any of connected Blink cameras.

How do I add a second phone to my Blink camera?

Adding a second phone to your Blink camera is a simple process and can be done in a few easy steps.

First, install the Blink app onto the new device you would like to pair with your Blink camera. Once the app has been installed, open it and log into the Blink account that already has the original device paired to it.

On the bottom right of the app, there will be an account icon. Tap on this icon to open the “My Account” page.

On this page, you will find a “My Cameras” tab at the top. Tap on this tab to see all the cameras associated with your account. You will now see a section dedicated to sharing cameras on the My Cameras page.

Tap the “Share Camera” button to add a new device.

Once you’ve tapped the “Share Camera” button, select which device you would like to share with the person you invite. If you choose to invite someone that does not yet have a Blink account, enter the invited users name and email address.

They will receive an email with a link to create their own account with your shared camera added to the list.

Once the invitation has been accepted and their account is set up, they’ll be able to view your camera and its associated footage. You will be able to keep track of who has shared access to the camera in the My Cameras section of the Blink app.

Once you’ve successfully added a second phone to your Blink camera, you wil have no trouble monitoring your home even when you’re away.

Can two phones have access to Blink cameras?

Yes, two phones can have access to Blink cameras. All you need to do is download the Blink app on each phone and log into the same Blink Account that you set up with your Blink camera. Once you log in on both phones, all the Blink cameras should show up in the list of cameras from the Blink app, allowing you and the other phone user to view, as well as edit and control the Blink cameras.

You can also grant access to other people and add them as members of your Blink account, allowing them to access your Blink cameras as well.

Can I view my Blink camera away from home?

Yes, you definitely can view your Blink camera away from home. Through the Blink app, you can access live streaming video and audio, and clips of events recorded by your Blink camera–whether you’re at home or not.

There are several ways to do this.

Using the Blink app on a mobile device, you can connect to your home’s wifi network and access your camera remotely. To do this, you’ll need to have a Blink Sync Module or video doorbell with a Sync Module attached.

If you don’t have a Blink Sync Module, you can still access Blink remotely, but it requires the use of a cloud-based WiFi service.

You can also access your Blink camera with Tablets or some Smart TVs. To do this you’ll need to download the Blink for Home app on the device and sign in with the same account you used to set up your Blink cameras.

Using all of these methods, you can easily view your Blink camera from anywhere and even take advantage of two-way audio capabilities.

All members of your household are required to have their own Blink app account and will be able to view your camera’s footage once they have been granted access.

How do you kick someone off Blink?

If you need to kick someone off of Blink, the first thing you should do is check your Blink Dashboard to ensure that the person you’re removing is not listed as an admin on the account. If they are, you will need to change them to a less privileged role before you can proceed with the removal process.

If you are the account owner, you can remove a person from the account directly from the Blink Dashboard. To do this, go to your Blink Dashboard, select “Users” from the left-hand menu, and locate the user you’d like to remove.

Click their name and select “Remove User”, confirm your action and they will be removed from the account.

If someone using Blink has been given access to the account by a different user, or you are not the account owner, you can still request their removal. All you have to do is contact the account owner and ask them to remove the person in question.

The owner will be able to do this in the same way as described above.

Finally, it’s important to remember that when kicking someone off of Blink, they will have their access removed but their data may remain active in Blink’s database until the account owner chooses to remove it.

On the page for the camera that appears, you’ll find an option to “unregister” the camera. Once you’ve selected this option, the camera will be disconnected from that account, and will be available for other users to register.

Yes, you can have multiple users on a Blink account. You can add as many user accounts as you need and manage them in the Blink app. You can assign individual user codes to each user, that can be used to access cameras or other compatible Blink devices.

Additionally, the Blink Cloud Storage service offers secure, cloud-based video storage so you can access your security footage from anywhere, anytime.

How do you share a Blink video?
