Scroll down to ‘Privacy and security’ and select the ‘Ads’ option from the drop-down menu. Click on the ‘Ads Personalization’ tab and select the ‘Off’ option at the top of the page. Click ‘Turn off Ads Personalization’ to disable Google’s ad personalization feature.

This should limit the number of links and ads that appear on the homepage.
