How do I undo an accidental delete in notes?

If you’ve accidentally deleted a note in your Notes app, don’t worry — you may be able to recover it. First, check your Recently Deleted folder, which is usually located at the bottom of your list of notes.

If the note is found in this folder, tap on the note to recover it.

If the note isn’t found in your Recently Deleted folder, you may still be able to get it back. To do this, open the Notes app and select the ‘Backup’ option. You may need to sign into your iCloud account from here if you’re not already signed in.

Choose any notes backups that you have stored in iCloud and select the ‘Restore Backup’ option. If a backup was made before you accidentally deleted your note, your note should be recovered.

If neither of these methods work, you may also be able to access a backed-up version of your note from your computer. Check to see if your notes have synced to your computer and check for any backups that have been made.

With any luck, you should be able to find the note you were looking for.
