Unfortunately, no, dogs are not allowed at Great Wolf Lodge Manteca. We do realize that often times, pets are an extension of the family so we’ve opened our Denver location to four-legged friends. For those who don’t have service or emotional support animals, there is an outdoor and enclosed dog park located in Manteca Park, less than a mile from the resort.

Why did Manteca waterslides close?
Manteca waterslides closed in 2018 due to a combination of safety concerns, financial issues and a general decline in the number of people visiting the park. The facility had been a popular attraction for local families for many years and had become increasingly more dangerous to operate, with a number of injuries over the years resulting from rides and slides malfunctioning.
Additionally, competing water parks in the area had opened, providing visitors with more modern and better-maintained rides at lower prices. The park owner was no longer able to keep up with needed repairs, and the costs of doing so were prohibitive.
With fewer people visiting, it was no longer profitable to keep the park open and resulted in the owners closing the facility in June 2018.
How do you remove plastic wristbands?
Removing plastic wristbands depends on the type of wristband. Snapping plastic wristbands, such as those used for crowd control, can be pulled off wrist by finding the weak spot in the band and popping it with your fingers.
If a safety release tab is available on flexible wristbands, this can make the process easier. For non-snapping, thicker plastic wristbands, scissors may be the best tool. Using scissors, cut the wristband near the band’s fastener.
Be sure to cut close to the fastener so that the band is easily removed. If the wristband doesn’t have a safety release tab and is difficult to cut with scissors, try using rubbing alcohol to help remove the band.
Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball or swab and rub it on either side of the wristband. This will dry the adhesive, therefore weakening the bond between the adhesive and the skin.
With this weakened bond, the wristband should slide off more easily.
