How do you put an Owlet sock in pairing mode?

In order to put an Owlet sock into pairing mode, you will need to place the sock in the base station and ensure that the sock’s lights are flashing yellow. If the lights are not flashing yellow, make sure the base station is plugged into a power source and the power switch is turned on.

Once the sock is in pairing mode, its lights will flash yellow.

Once the sock is in pairing mode, you can then use the Owlet app to search for the sock’s WiFi connection on your smartphone. To do this, open the Owlet app on your phone and select the option ‘Set up your Owlet’ in the lower left corner.

If a connection is not automatically detected, select “search” to manually search for the connection. Once the connection appears, enter in a name for the sock and select “next” in the lower right corner to finish the setup process.

At this point, the sock should now be active and ready to use.

Why does my Owlet sock keep saying connecting?

The Owlet sock is designed to detect your baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels and alert you if either falls out of preset zones. Therefore, a common reason the sock may keep saying “connecting” is because it is in the process of establishing a connection between the sock and base station.

It can take some time to complete the connection, so if the connecting message persists, try unplugging the power and restarting the base station. Additionally, make sure the Owlet Smart Sock and Base Station are not too far apart from each other, which can interfere with the connection.

The maximum recommended operating distance is 115 feet. You may need to move the sock and/or the base station closer together to ensure a better connection.

How do I reset my Owlet sock?

In order to reset your Owlet sock, you must first power it off by unplugging it from the wall. Once the sock has been powered off, press and hold the “reset” button located on the back of the sock for 5 seconds.

The “reset” button is located next to the charging port. Re-plug the sock into the wall and turn it back on. The core will be in pairing mode and will be ready to pair with your Owlet Base Station. Once the Owlet sock is paired with the Owlet Base Station, your Owlet sock will be reset and ready to use again.

How do I know if my Owlet sock is working?

If your Owlet sock is working properly, you will know because it will connect to the Owlet app quickly and consistently. Additionally, you will be able to see your baby’s oxygen level and heart rate readings.

You should also be able to hear audio and visual alerts that notify you of sudden changes in oxygen or heart rate levels. If you are having difficulty connecting the sock to your app or receiving accurate readings, make sure that you are connecting on a secure WiFi network, that Bluetooth is enabled on your device, and that your sock’s battery has a sufficient charge.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you can contact the Owlet Customer Care team for extra help.

Why is my Owlet not working?

Unfortunately, there can be many reasons why your Owlet is not working. Unfortunately, that means that diagnosing the cause of the problem can be a bit tricky.

First and foremost, you should make sure your Owlet device is charged and is connected to the base station. Additionally, the base station should be synced with the Owlet app. If the base station and the app are not synced, it may cause the device to not register.

If the Owlet device is connected, you should make sure that it is correctly connected to the baby’s sock and secured correctly. The device should be equally centered on the top of the sock so that it comfortably secure the baby’s foot.

If the Owlet device is not secure the device will not be able to accurately register your baby’s vitals.

It could also be possible that your Owlet device needs to be reset. It is best to consult the Owlet support website to properly do this.

If you have checked all of these items and you still have issues getting your Owlet to work, then you should reach out to the Owlet customer service team. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps to help you get your Owlet working again.

Why is the owlet sock being discontinued?

The Owlet Sock is being discontinued because it was originally designed as an infant health tracking device, and it has now served its purpose. There have been many advances in infant health technology in recent years, and the Owlet Sock is no longer seen as the most reliable or up-to-date product available.

Additionally, the cost of production for the Owlet Sock has become prohibitively expensive, as newer and more advanced models have been released.
