Francis cheated on Mary with Lola for many reasons. Many times, when a relationship is no longer fulfilling a person’s needs or desires, they may start to become attracted to someone else. This could be due to a lack of communication between partners or an absence of physical connection.

In some cases, one or both partners may experience a lack of satisfaction in the relationship and start to reach out to others to find the fulfillment they are looking for.

In Francis and Mary’s relationship, it is likely that one or both of them weren’t getting what they needed. Francis may have been searching for an emotional or physical connection he was not getting from Mary.

It is also possible that he was feeling neglected or taken for granted, making him vulnerable to being attracted to someone else.

Whatever the case may be, Francis cheating on Mary with Lola points to a larger issue in the relationship that neither of them was addressing. If they had addressed their issues and found a way to reconnect, perhaps Francis wouldn’t have felt the need to look elsewhere.
