Daily devotions allow individuals to spend time with God each day, regardless of their day-to-day responsibilities. This can come in the form of silent reflection or meditation, in addition to more formal practices such as praying the Rosary.

Catholics can also pray the Liturgy of the Hours, also known as Divine Office, which is a collection of prayers that are recited throughout the day. There are other devotions such as novenas and Eucharistic Adoration, which involve more focused prayer times, often over the course of several days.

These are encouraged, but are not required of the faithful. Ultimately, the Catholic Church urges everyone to cultivate prayer and holiness in their daily lives.

This means that instead of relying on our own opinions and experiences to guide us, we should draw near to God, developing a deep and intimate relationship with Him, listening and trusting Him to lead our paths.

It means to go forward and make decisions by faith despite not being able to see the outcome and trusting in God that all things will work out for our good, according to His will. It also means being obedient to God and the commands in His Word, no matter how difficult or unreasonable those commands may appear to us.

Walking by faith does not mean that we do not use wisdom or our own understanding, however, it does mean that we let God be the foundation of our decision-making and that we trust Him to be over any circumstances or events that arise in our lives.

How do you live by faith not by sight?

Living by faith not by sight is about trusting God, believing in Him and relying on His promises rather than trying to rely on our own abilities, knowledge, and strength to navigate through life. Living by faith involves making a conscious decision to live according to God’s will, trusting Him even when the future is unclear or the circumstances look bleak. It involves spending time in prayer and in the Word of God and taking steps to act faithfully instead of relying solely on what we can immediately observe.

Additionally, living by faith involves relying on the comfort and strength of the Holy Spirit instead of our own understanding, and expressing gratitude to God no matter the situation.
