Why are my FB posts duplicating?

There can be a few reasons why your Facebook posts are duplicating. If you’re seeing multiple copies of the same post, the first thing to look at is the app or website you’re using to post the content.

Modifying posts through the app or website could be causing duplication. Additionally, if you’re cross-posting (simultaneously posting the same content to multiple accounts or platforms), this could be causing duplicate posts.

Another possible cause of duplicate posts is a browser issue. If you’re using an auto-fill plugin or feature that fills in your posts for you, those can create duplicate posts. Additionally, if you use multiple web browsers to access Facebook, this could also lead to duplication.

Try clearing your browser’s cache, closing it, and then logging in to Facebook again. If that doesn’t work, try using a different browser.

Facebook also has a few features that could lead to duplicated posts. If you use Facebook Stories from your computer, it could be creating duplicate posts. If you’re using the Share button on a mobile device, it could cause duplication as well.

Finally, if you have multiple accounts with Facebook, posts you make to one would appear in the others, so be sure to log out of all accounts when you’re not using them.

If none of these suggestions resolve the issue, your best bet would be to contact Facebook directly with the issue. They will be able to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

How long do posts stay on Facebook news feed?

Posts on Facebook news feeds typically stay visible for up to 2 or 3 days, although it really depends on engagement levels; the more activity (likes, comments, shares) a post receives, the longer it will stay visible on the news feed.

In addition, Facebook also has an algorithm that will push stories higher in the news feed if they appear to be relevant to the user and likely to be of interest. So if the post is well received it could be visible for much longer.

How come I only see a few friends posts on Facebook?

Facebook filters what you see on your News Feed using an algorithm. This algorithm looks at the posts your friends are making, who made them and the type of content they include. Depending on how often you interact with certain friends or the content they post, their posts may appear more or less often in your News Feed.

Additionally, an algorithm looks at the type of connections you have with someone to determine how much content you see from them in your feed. For example, if you’re very close friends with someone, or you interact with them often, you’ll likely see more of their posts.

Also, the posts from groups or businesses you follow will appear in your News Feed. Overall, this algorithm is constantly adjusting to show you the most relevant content.

How do I reset my Facebook feed?

If you want to reset your Facebook feed, there are a few different options available.

The first option is to manually remove content from your feed. To do this, go to your Facebook profile, click the “Newsfeed” link, and scroll down through your list of posts. Look for posts that you don’t want to be displayed in your feed and click “Hide Story” or “Unfollow” to prevent them from appearing.

The second option is to use the “Snooze” or “See First / Unfollow” features. To use these features, go to the Facebook profile of the person or page that is posting content that you don’t want to see on your feed.

To the right of the post there should be an icon with 3 vertical lines, click this and select either “Snooze [Person/Page] for 30 days” or “Unfollow [Person/Page]”. This will prevent posts from appearing on your feed, while still allowing you to view posts if you visit the person/page’s profile.

Lastly, if you want to completely reset your Facebook feed and start from scratch, you can use the “Hide All” feature. To do this, click on the “News Feed Preferences” link in the left-hand menu, then scroll down and click the “Hide All” button.

This will remove all posts from your feed and allow you to start from a clean slate.

In summary, if you want to reset your Facebook feed, you can manually remove posts, use the “Snooze” or “See First/Unfollow” features, or use the “Hide All” feature.

Why can’t I see all of my friends on Facebook?

There could be multiple reasons why you may not be able to see all of your friends on Facebook. Firstly, if you have a lot of friends, it may not be possible to see them all on one page or in one search.

Secondly, if your friends have their privacy set to where only their friends can view their profiles and posts, you may not be able to see them, as you may not be in their network/friend list. Thirdly, if your friends have blocked you or hidden their posts from you, then you won’t be able to see anything that they share or post.

Finally, if their profile is inactive, you won’t be able to find them in a search as well.

How do I get Facebook to default to most recent?

To get Facebook to default to most recent, you first need to make sure you are logged into your account. Once logged in, click on the drop down arrow located in the upper right corner. This will bring up a number of options and you will want to click on “News Feed Preferences”.

Once you click that option you will be brought to the news feed preferences page. From here you will want to scroll down to the “Show Posts From” option. Here you can adjust the settings to “Most Recent”.

Finally, click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to save your settings. This should now have Facebook default to most recent, allowing you to see the latest posts from your friends and pages you follow.

Why is my Facebook News Feed not showing most recent?

Your Facebook News Feed may not be showing the most recent posts for a few reasons. The main reason is because Facebook prioritizes what it thinks you want to see. It does this by going through your activity and preferences and giving you posts from people you interact with the most.

That means that if you haven’t been interacting with people and pages then their posts may not show up at all, or more than once if they post repetitively. You may also have certain settings enabled that are preventing certain posts from showing up, such as if you have restricted certain friends or pages from your News Feed.

Additionally, depending on how quickly updates are coming in, the news feed can become quickly overloaded. This can cause it to become backlogged and posts from earlier may not show up at all. To fix this, you should interact more with friends and pages that you are interested in, adjust your post visibility settings, and give your News Feed a break from time to time so it can repopulate itself.

How do I fix Facebook algorithm?

Unfortunately, it is not possible for anyone to “fix” the Facebook algorithm. The algorithm is a constantly-evolving set of parameters and criteria that is designed and managed by Facebook’s developers in order to optimize the quality and appeal of the content posted on the platform.

As such, the algorithm is constantly changing and the best way to stay in line with it is to remain up to date with the current best practices, such as creating engaging content, using visuals and media whenever possible, interacting with followers, optimizing post timing and link click-throughs, and using the various ad targeting tools available.

Additionally, staying abreast of any new updates or changes to the algorithm will also help. Finally, using other social media platforms as part of an integrated marketing strategy can also help to ensure that your content is seen and appreciated by the widest possible audience.

Why does Facebook only show suggested posts?

Facebook only shows suggested posts because the type of content presented by those posts is more likely to be engaging and seen by more users. Suggested posts are selected based on a mix of algorithmically determined factors, including the types of posts you generally interact with and how often you interact with them.

The posts are also filtered by factors like popularity and relevancy, so that you see content that is more likely to be interesting and relevant to you.

In addition to serving up suggested posts, Facebook also includes content from your friends and Pages that you follow. This allows you to keep up to date with the people and Pages you care about, while still being exposed to content that is likely to be of greater interest to you.

Overall, Facebook’s focus on suggested posts is designed to ensure that users’ News Feeds contain more relevant and engaging content, rather than just content from their friends and Pages that they follow, which may not be as interesting or relevant.
