Why did my text messages turn from blue to green?

When you send a text message, the colour of the message may change from blue to green. This is because Apple and Android smartphones often use different messaging services. Messages sent between Apple users are sent using iMessage and appear as blue bubbles.

Messages sent between Android users are sent using SMS (Short Message Service) which appear as green bubbles. When you send a message to someone who is using a different type of technology than you are, their messaging service will take precedence and the message will appear as a green bubble.

This could be why your messages have changed from blue to green.

How do you know if you’ve been blocked on iMessage?

If you have been blocked on iMessage, there are a few tell-tale signs that can tell you. First, check to see if the person’s profile is still active on FaceTime or Messages. If it appears to be deleted or deactivated, this could indicate that they’ve blocked you.

Another thing to look out for is if they message you but you don’t receive any audio or visual notification (no tone, no banner at the top of your phone, etc. ). That’s a sign that your messages aren’t going through.

Finally, if you try to initiate a conversation but you both keep receiving the “waiting for activation” message, this could also be a tell-tale sign that you’ve been blocked.

What happens when someone blocks you on iMessage?

When someone blocks you on iMessage, your messages that you send to them will not be delivered. The message that they sent will not be removed from your conversation history but it will be marked as “not delivered.

” Additionally, when you try to call that person, your calls will go directly to voicemail. You will no longer be able to see their “last seen” or “delivered” status. As someone who has been blocked on iMessage, you will no longer have access to any of that person’s contact information.

You will not be able to tag that person in shared photos or messages, and if you were in a group conversation, they will be removed from the conversation once they block you.

What does the other person see when you block them on iMessage?

When you block someone on iMessage, the other person will no longer be able to see when you are online, or what messages you have sent. They also won’t be able to see any messages you have sent to them nor will they be able to start a new conversation with you.

Additionally, if a group chat includes the person you blocked, they won’t be able to see older messages or messages that you have sent in the chat. They will, however, be able to see messages sent by the other people in the chat.

Finally, the blocked user will not be able to make any FaceTime calls with you.

Why is iMessage suddenly green?

The color of the text in iMessage is blue by default as sending messages via iMessage uses Apple’s servers to process them. However, if you’re sending or receiving messages from someone who doesn’t also have an Apple device, the messages will appear green instead.

This is because the messages are sent via your carrier’s messaging system, instead of Apple’s. It’s usually easy to tell the difference, as messages sent over the carrier’s networks (shown as green bubbles) will usually take longer to arrive than messages sent on Apple’s networks.

Why is iMessage green to another iPhone?

iMessage is the default messaging system for Apple products and it uses data to send messages instead of using cellular or SMS networks. This means that iMessage messages appear as green because they are sent through the internet and not the phone service.

Sending green texts through iMessage is much faster and more reliable compared to traditional SMS, and gives iPhone users more features than standard texting such as the ability to send videos, photos, location, and other documents.

Additionally, sending iMessage texts is free and appears in all your Apple products, like Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

Am I blocked if iMessage sent as text?

No, if you have an iPhone, you cannot be blocked from sending an iMessage as a text. iMessages are sent as data over Wi-Fi or cellular data networks. However, if the recipient has their device set up to only send and receive SMS/MMS messages, then your iMessage will be sent as a text message.

Therefore, you cannot be blocked from sending a text message when the recipient has their device set up for SMS/MMS messaging.

What do blocked texts look like?

Blocked texts can look similar to regular texts, but with a slight difference. Depending on the person’s phone service provider, some blocked texts may not appear in the phone’s messages at all. For example, on iPhones, blocked messages appear as “Delivered” in the text conversation thread, but will not appear in the actual text conversation when viewing the message.

With Android phones, the blocked text may appear in the messages application, but will not have the sender’s name or profile picture next to it, and the text itself will appear in a black block with a few lines of text visible.

Some phones may just display a “message blocked” notification. In either case, the sender of the blocked text will not be notified that you have blocked them.

Do messages still send If you’re blocked?

No, messages will not send if you have been blocked by another user. If a user blocks you, they will no longer be able to receive messages from you through any of the messaging services (instant messaging, text messaging, etc).

Additionally, if you are blocked by someone, you will not be able to see when they are online or if they have read the message you sent them. In summary, if you have been blocked, any messages you send will not be seen or received by the other user.
