Why is my Google account profile picture not changing?

There could be several reasons why your Google account profile picture is not changing.

First, make sure that the picture you are trying to upload meets the requirements for profile pictures. The picture must be in the JPEG, GIF, or PNG format; it must be smaller than 20MB; and it must have a resolution of at least 720 x 720 pixels.

If your picture does not meet these requirements, it will not be accepted by Google.

Second, it is possible that your changes are not being saved. When you upload a picture to the Google account, make sure that you click the “Update” button to save your changes. If the button is not clicked, the changes will not be saved, and your profile picture will remain the same.

Finally, if your profile picture is still not changing, there may be an issue with your Google account. Try logging out and logging back in again, and see if that helps. If not, try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, as this may help.

If the problem persists, contact Google support for further assistance.

How can I tell when a Google image was uploaded?

Google images don’t display a date when they were uploaded, however, there are a few ways you can tell when an image was uploaded. Firstly, if the image has a descriptive title or caption, this can give you an idea of when it originated.

If the image is from a website or platform, you can check the page or website’s original dates for further information. Additionally, if you have access to the image’s original file name and the file itself – for example, if it’s been uploaded to your computer – you can find its upload date by checking the image’s properties.
